About The Position

Celerity Integrated Services is seeking a full-time Project Manager for its Fiber Optic Splicing department in Quakertown, PA. This role is responsible for managing multiple jobs within the department, overseeing all necessary resources (labor, materials, subcontractors, equipment) to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet customer expectations. The Project Manager will work under the direction of the department manager.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of telecommunications experience in ISP/OSP.
  • Ability to manage multiple aggressive job schedules.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, specifications, and scopes of work.
  • Microsoft Office 365 proficiency.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • OSHA 30 course for Construction.

  • BA in a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Bid Walks and attend customer meetings.
  • Assist Bidding & Estimating with Level of Efforts (LOEs) for bids.
  • Coordinate manpower, subcontractors, equipment, materials, lodging, fueling, and staging for projects.
  • Oversee field activities with Field Superintendents to ensure project completion per budget.
  • Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are met on job sites.
  • Review documentation of manpower, equipment, materials, and tasks related to the budget.
  • Seek and propose alternative completion methodologies to outperform the as-bid model.
  • Notify Department Manager and Bidding & Estimating of Change Orders and assist with LOE compilation.
  • Review Daily Performance Reports (DPRs) for accuracy and project performance.
  • Compare project progress against job budget and take corrective measures.
  • Complete project close-out documentation.
  • Approve project-related invoices.
  • Address customer-related issues and escalate to the Department Manager if necessary.
  • Assess field personnel talent and provide input to the Department Manager.
  • Assist the Department Manager with project invoicing.
  • Participate in the department's on-call rotation, including dispatching crews and acting as a liaison between the NOC and the field.
  • Perform additional assignments as directed by the Department Manager.
