About The Position

T BAILEY LLC is seeking a Project Manager for their Anacortes, Washington location. This is a full-time role that involves both field and office work. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of construction, including field experience, drawing interpretation, subcontractor management, and project scheduling. This role offers the opportunity to manage significant projects with fewer layers of management and to work with experienced professionals. T BAILEY is a heavy civil and industrial contractor specializing in field-erected steel tanks, structural steel, and civil infrastructure, known for delivering durable work since 1991.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of project management experience in heavy-civil, industrial, or structural steel construction.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, fabrication specs, and contract documents.
  • Familiarity with industry codes: API 650, AWWA, ASME, AISC, AWS D1.1.
  • Solid budget and schedule management skills, including tracking cost-to-complete.
  • Experience managing subcontractors, suppliers, and owner relationships concurrently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Comfortable on active industrial job sites and knowledgeable about site conduct.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent field experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with project scheduling tools such as P6 or MS Project.

Responsibilities

  • Running projects end-to-end, including planning, execution, and closeout, across shop fabrication and field construction.
  • Staying ahead of schedule and cost, not just reporting on them.
  • Working directly with superintendents to ensure smooth field execution.
  • Coordinating with the fabrication shop on sequencing, priorities, and delivery.
  • Resolving issues quickly through direct communication or site visits.
  • Communicating directly with clients and owner representatives to facilitate decision-making.
  • Managing subcontractors and suppliers with clear expectations and follow-through.
  • Assisting with change orders, bid support, or new project setup as needed.
  • Managing multiple projects at different stages simultaneously.
