ROMA Scaffolding is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join our growing team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the construction industry
  • Experience working with New York City public agencies is a strong plus
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications
  • Familiarity with construction/project management software
  • Strong understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles
  • Ability to budget, schedule, negotiate, and control project costs
  • Strong knowledge of contract and subcontract documents, terms, and conditions
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and management skills

Nice To Haves

  • PMP certification or equivalent is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Determine and define project scope, objectives, and deliverables
  • Forecast resources needed to complete projects successfully
  • Obtain necessary permits, approvals, and regulatory requirements
  • Prepare and submit Schedule of Values (SOV) based on project scope and resources
  • Manage project costs to maintain budget objectives
  • Oversee contracts and subcontract agreements
  • Develop and manage construction schedules and daily activities
  • Provide progress updates regarding budgets, timelines, and project milestones
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable building and safety codes
  • Manage subcontractor and supplier relationships
  • Coordinate project efforts between architects, engineers, designers, subcontractors, and internal teams
