About The Position

Global software company is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee software development initiatives and customer deliverables. This position is responsible for bringing structure, visibility, and accountability to projects while partnering with experienced technical teams. The ideal candidate is an organized, confident communicator who can coordinate multiple stakeholders, anticipate challenges, and keep projects progressing without unnecessary micromanagement.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing software or technology projects from planning through completion.
  • Customer-facing experience in a software, technology, engineering, or technical services environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with software engineers and other technical professionals.
  • Strong organizational, planning, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Experience with project schedules, reporting, task tracking, and project management tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating with technical and business teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
  • U.S. citizenship required due to the nature of certain client projects, along with the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables, and task assignments.
  • Coordinate internal teams and external resources to keep projects aligned with established objectives.
  • Monitor project progress, timelines, resources, risks, and changing requirements.
  • Provide clear project updates, metrics, and status reports to leadership and customers.
  • Participate in customer meetings, project kickoffs, requirements discussions, and regular project reviews.
  • Work with technical teams to understand project dependencies, resource requirements, and potential challenges.
  • Identify schedule, scope, resource, and budget concerns and communicate issues to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Maintain organized project documentation, action items, decisions, risks, and changes.
  • Facilitate meetings and encourage effective communication among customers, technical teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Assist with resource planning and staffing requirements as projects evolve.
  • Use modern project management and productivity tools to improve planning, communication, and execution.
