About The Position

CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to join our Water Team in Orlando, FL. As Project Manager, you will play a key role in managing project scope, schedules, budgets, and client expectations while contributing technical expertise to projects that enhance public health, environmental stewardship, and community resilience. This role involves managing water/wastewater projects from proposal development through completion, ensuring environmentally friendly and cost-effective solutions. You will oversee all aspects of project delivery, including scope, budget, schedule, and client relationships, and coordinate contracts, purchase orders, and project documentation with clients and subcontractors. The role also includes leading project financials, subcontractor payments, and monthly review meetings, as well as developing project-specific health and safety plans and ensuring QA/QC compliance. Clear communication of updates to clients, management, and project teams is essential for timely and efficient project completion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required
  • Minimum of 4 years of discipline-specific engineering experience required, including 2 years of project management experience
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required
  • Proven ability to manage scope, budget and schedule of technical tasks
  • Advanced proficiency with engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.) as well as Microsoft Office
  • Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering laws
  • Strong leadership, organization, and multitasking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Deltek Vision preferred
  • Participation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage water/wastewater projects from development of project proposals through completion, providing environmentally friendly and cost-effective solutions
