About The Position

The Project Manager is responsible for Safety, Quality, Planning, Scheduling, Budget, Change Management, and all on-site Construction activities. This position requires close coordination with the construction team, contractors, suppliers, and the owner’s representatives. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management is required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience with industrial project management.
  • Must be familiar with Construction Safety and OSHA requirements.
  • Must be detail oriented and demonstrate experience and knowledge of Project Management Best Practices.
  • Must have excellent oral/written communication skills.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and P6 (or similar scheduling software).
  • Must be able to travel to off-site jobs.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a culture of Safety on the job site with all direct team members, contractors, and sub-contractors.
  • Establish and manage a quality program for the project including but not limited to quality hold points during construction and sign off criteria.
  • Responsible for work coordination between contractors, suppliers, and owners team.
  • Prepare and maintain a detailed schedule for construction.
  • Responsible for tracking all invoices, payments, change orders, and back charges.
  • Manage project communications, transmittals, and routine project reporting.
  • Ensure all Requests for Information are answered in a timely manner.
  • Evaluate and Mitigate risks to project performance related to safety, quality, schedule, and cost.
  • Act as primary contact with the customer.
  • The ability to work overtime and regular, punctual attendance is required.
