Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, or a related technical field
  • 2+ years of project management and/or people management experience
  • Strong financial, analytical, and communication skills
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a “Q” clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Strong contract negotiation skills
  • A track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
  • An active or previously held Q-level security clearance

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects from cradle to completion by developing scopes, schedules, staffing plans, and cost estimates while ensuring performance stays aligned with budget and timeline commitments.
  • Build and maintain full project plans, progress and earned value reports, and performance dashboards using Centrus’ project controls systems.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources.
  • Lead periodic project reviews.
  • Adjust staffing and materials as needed.
  • Implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
  • Lead contract negotiations.
  • Conduct lessons-learned reviews to drive continuous improvement.
  • Consistently communicate status to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
