About The Position

Telecom Infrastructure Corp is seeking a hands-on Project Manager with experience in Structured Cabling, Access Control, and AV for high-end residential projects in the New York City area. This role requires a technically inclined individual who is comfortable working on construction sites and in the office. The Project Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, internal staff, and other trades, managing the scope of work, project timelines, profitability, and quality control. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the built environment and experience with all phases of implementation.

Requirements

  • Experience on construction sites as a Project Manager in Structured Cabling, Access Control, and AV.
  • Knowledge of the built environment and experience with all three phases of implementation (Rough/Trim/Final).
  • A steady work history (minimum 3 years between job changes).
  • High Emotional Quotient (EQ).

Nice To Haves

  • PMP certification.
  • Experience with commercial/corporate buildouts including structured cabling, security, wireless, cellular, and AV.
  • Familiarity with BICSI, NEC, ANSI/TIA, & LV standards.
  • Experience with access control platforms, surveillance systems, door hardware coordination, and security infrastructure.
  • Certifications such as RCDD, RTPM, BICSI, CTS, CTS-I.
  • Experience managing union labor on NYC construction projects.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Primary Point of Contact for Client, In-House Staff, Other Trades, GC, Architect, and Rep.
  • Understand, deliver, and troubleshoot the scope of work as needed.
  • Plan and manage project timelines, ensuring proactive scheduling and alignment with resources.
  • Track and manage material and labor spend against budget to ensure project profitability and eliminate redundancies.
  • Issue work orders to the team and coordinate with third parties.
  • Ensure all work meets the Scope of Work, Plans, Company Standards, and Client Expectations through quality control.
  • Read, interpret, manifest, mark-up, and distribute plan sets/blueprints to the team.
  • Create, submit, get approval for, confirm payment, and execute change orders.
