About The Position

Oversee complex programs that drive impactful mission outcomes for our customers as a Project/Task Manager. Here, you’ll see the bigger picture on mission initiatives and where your program management career can go at GDIT. You will play a crucial role in bridging customer on-site operations with off-site program execution, ensuring clear communication, disciplined document control, and operational alignment across secure and unclassified environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
  • 5+ years of related experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace tools, specifically Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
  • Familiarity with secure data transfer protocols and handling of sensitive/classified materials
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to brief executive leadership in a concise and informative manner
  • Ability to develop executive style presentations and track high-level milestones
  • Active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph
  • Onsite: Reston, VA with some travel within the Washington, DC metro area

  • PMP certification highly desired

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary on-site liaison between client stakeholders and the PMO, ensuring requirements are clearly captured, communicated, and actioned.
  • Manage secure document and data transfers across classified and unclassified networks, maintaining compliance, version control, and data integrity.
  • Handle formal customer correspondence over secure networks in alignment with required security protocols.
  • Support meetings (virtual and on-site) by documenting requirements, capturing formal minutes, and tracking action items to closure.
  • Synchronize complex schedules across multiple secure calendars, time zones, and teams; ensure alignment of client and remote resources.
  • Oversee account access requests, credentialing workflows, ticket submissions, tracking, and onboarding support.
  • Coordinate on-site meeting logistics, including facility availability, visitor access coordination, and remote team participation.
  • Identify workflow gaps between client and remote teams, proposing achievable, scalable process improvements.
  • Coordinate and track program milestones, upcoming releases, due dates, and acquisition requirements to keep teams informed and prepared.
  • Communicate complex technical or procedural information in clear, concise, and actionable formats for both executive and non-technical audiences.
