About The Position

VERSYS (Verified Systems) is a privately-owned thriving company that provides low and medium voltage services for industrial commissioning, start up, maintenance, construction, and panel fabrication in Canada and the US. We are currently looking for a Senior Project Manager for our US division. This key role is responsible for leading teams to project completion, while managing allocated resources, schedules and financials. The Senior Project Manager position offers a variety of work, dividing time between the office and traveling to site to meet with field teams or clients. The role provides an opportunity to join a supportive team in a diverse, fast-paced work environment, with the resources, authority, and power to design and/or implement processes and procedures acquired through past experience. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience/ Project Management Certification (PMP)
  • 10 years of professional project management experience in the oilfield
  • 5+ years of commissioning experience
  • 5+ years of construction experience
  • Valid driver’s License and clean driver’s abstract

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that projects are progressing according to scope, schedule, budget and quality standards
  • Manage project scope and changes - track overall budget, out of scope (RFI’s) and keep customer informed
  • Work with Field Lead for project manpower requirements and schedule
  • Provide on-site leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones
  • Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to close-out.
  • Prepare estimates and detailed project plan for all phases of the project
  • Prepare Audit documentation and maintain quality
  • Procure adequate resources to achieve project objectives by the assigned “in-service dates.”
  • Attend Customer project progress meetings, provide insight and project status updates
  • Understand interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel
