About The Position

We are seeking a Project Manager to join our team supporting Air Force Lifecycle Management Center (AFLCMC) in Dayton, OH. Lead execution of a Department of Defense (DoD) Cyber Defense Platform initiative supporting a federal customer. The PM will provide end-to-end program oversight for hardware procurement, enterprise security platform deployment, cybersecurity software licensing, operator training, sustainment support, and option-year expansion activities. The PM will ensure all contractual tasks and deliverables are executed on schedule, within scope, and in compliance with federal acquisition, cybersecurity, and security requirements. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • 8+ years of DoD or Federal program/project management experience.
  • Experience managing cybersecurity platform deployments or enterprise IT systems.
  • Demonstrated experience managing hardware procurement and software licensing efforts.
  • Must have an Active SECRET clearance
  • Must have a PMP certification

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with enterprise SIEM or Elastic Stack deployments.
  • Familiarity with SOAR platforms and endpoint detection/response tools.
  • Experience supporting SAP-access programs.
  • Knowledge of FAR and DoD acquisition processes.
  • Experience managing contracts with multiple option years.

Responsibilities

  • Lead execution of base period tasks including security operations infrastructure deployment, enterprise training coordination, software procurement, and platform integration.
  • Oversee option-year activities including license renewals, capability expansion, and on-site technical support.
  • Ensure all contract deliverables are submitted within required timelines (e.g., bills of lading, transit reports, training documentation, configuration reports, renewal documentation).
  • Maintain integrated master schedule, risk register, and performance tracking metrics.
  • Coordinate hardware procurement activities and ensure delivery documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Oversee weekly shipping and transit reporting until delivery is finalized.
  • Confirm facility readiness (rack, power, cooling, network access) prior to deployment.
  • Support deployment readiness reviews and post-installation technical reviews.
  • Coordinate with technical architects and OEM vendors supporting enterprise SIEM/EDR/XDR, SOAR, and related cybersecurity technologies.
  • Ensure license keys and vendor points of contact are delivered within required timelines.
  • Track cleared personnel submissions prior to deployment activities.
  • Oversee configuration documentation and post-installation reporting deliverables.
  • Coordinate enterprise cybersecurity platform training for Government personnel.
  • Ensure training waves are executed within contract timelines.
  • Track and submit training completion documentation and certificates.
  • Ensure all personnel maintain required clearance and program eligibility.
  • Enforce compliance with DD Form 254 requirements and federal security protocols.
  • Ensure all activities align with DoD cybersecurity standards, STIGs, and best practices.
  • Track license expirations and coordinate renewals in advance of expiration.
  • Manage expansion license procurement and integration timelines.
  • Oversee travel coordination in compliance with Joint Travel Regulations (JTR).
  • Deliver quarterly status updates and annual closeout reporting.
  • Periodic CONUS travel as required by the Government customer.
  • Travel coordinated in compliance with JTR.
