About The Position

CYPFER is a true first-responder Cybersecurity organization enabling clients to return to business rapidly, the right way, following a cyber-attack. We are a global market leader in ransomware post-breach remediation and cyber-attack first response. We deliver results that far surpass market statistics for cyber-extortion and ransomware events. Our team of cybersecurity professionals works with prominent global insurance carriers, leading law firms, and Fortune 1000 businesses. We are hiring a Project Manager to lead CYPFER's internal strategic initiatives: the cross-functional projects that make the company faster, more scalable, and more profitable. You will report to the VP of PMO and partner with Finance, Sales, Operations, Legal, and other groups to turn priorities into delivered results.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in project or program management, including leading cross-functional business initiatives
  • Proven record of delivering process improvement or operational efficiency projects with measurable results
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and Outlook
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to map processes, build KPIs, and turn data into recommendations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to senior leaders
  • Ability to influence and align stakeholders without direct authority
  • Highly organized, able to manage multiple concurrent initiatives and shifting priorities
  • Bachelor's degree in business, operations, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Willing and able to work onsite at our Allen, TX office 3 days per week

Nice To Haves

  • PMP, PgMP, or similar project management certification
  • Experience with Scoro or a comparable professional services automation (PSA) platform
  • Experience in the cybersecurity industry or another professional services business
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement training

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic initiatives end to end: Define scope, goals, success metrics, timelines, and resourcing for each initiative, then drive it to completion
  • Run a portfolio of projects: Maintain a clear view of all active initiatives, their dependencies, and their status, and help leadership prioritize when trade-offs arise
  • Align cross-functional stakeholders: Facilitate working sessions, secure decisions, and keep executives and contributors aligned on scope, timing, and accountability
  • Measure and report outcomes: Build KPIs and dashboards, and deliver concise status updates and executive briefings on progress, risks, and results
  • Manage risks and issues: Identify obstacles early, escalate when needed, and keep initiatives on track
  • Drive change adoption: Document new processes, train teams, and confirm that changes stick after launch
  • Strengthen PM practices: Help establish lightweight templates, governance, and tooling that raise the quality of project execution across CYPFER
