This Project Manager role, though for testing purposes, outlines key responsibilities in project execution, financial management, quality control, work planning, team supervision, risk management, stakeholder engagement, performance management, capability building, and relationship management within Ferrovial's global infrastructure operations.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage the daily activities of the project, ensuring that it progresses smoothly and stays on schedule.
  • Monitor project budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and making adjustments as needed to avoid budgetary overruns.
  • Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards, conducting regular reviews to maintain compliance with specifications.
  • Plan and coordinate work based on project plans, change orders, shop drawings, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
  • Monitor monthly pay estimates and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Oversee and guide project teams, ensuring that all roles and responsibilities are clear and that team members have the support needed to meet deadlines.
  • Proactively identify risks that may affect project outcomes, implementing strategies to mitigate potential disruptions.
  • Communicate preventative action plans and implement solutions to keep the project on track.
  • Work closely with stakeholders, keeping them informed about project progress, risks, and potential impacts.
  • Maintain open communication with clients and team members.
  • Develop and propose own performance objectives; take appropriate actions to ensure achievement of agreed objectives, using Ferrovial's performance management systems to improve personal performance.
  • Set appropriate performance objectives for team members and hold them accountable for achieving these.
  • Use the Ferrovial's formal development framework to identify the team's individual development needs.
  • Plan and implement actions to build their capabilities.
  • Provide training or coaching to others throughout the organization in own area of expertise to enable others to improve performance and fulfill personal potential.
  • Contribute to the management of partnering relationships with internal clients, building effective working relationships and providing high-quality professional services to support in delivering business strategy and plans.
  • Communicate the local action plan connected with Ferrovial's broader mission and vision; develop the shared vision that we are the sum of many businesses that have come together to achieve excellence and motivate people to achieve local business objectives.
