About The Position

The Markets Process Engineering team has been formed to support stakeholders both within Operations and across the bank, to design and deliver a multi-year transformation roadmap. Our transformation is underpinned by strategy, investment change execution and a market leading change delivery team focusing on program and project management, business analysis, process re-engineering, low code application development PMO. The Futures and OTC Clearing franchise is an agency business providing trading and clearing capabilities across 40+ exchanges to our clients and proprietary lines of business such as Equities, Rates, Commodities, FX and Prime D1. The business is embarking on a strategic re-engineering of it’s platforms. This is a multi-year initiative, moving to real time computation, and with ambitious goals to design and deliver a more robust, strategic, well controlled end state for Futures and OTC Clearing Operations. We are recruiting for a Project/Business Analyst to help lead the delivery of strategic initiatives. The role will work in partnership with the Futures and OTC clearing business, operations teams globally, technology and downstream areas such as finance and regulatory reporting.

Requirements

  • Project Management and Business Analysis
  • Exchange Traded Derivatives (ETD) and Cleared OTC knowledge preferred
  • 7+ years operations experience (preferably in banking)
  • Critical thinking and problem solving
  • Strong ability in use of Microsoft Applications (PowerPoint, Visio, Project, Word, Excel, Access)
  • Proficient with the project life cycle (Waterfall & Agile)

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end projects from defining scope, milestones and deliverables with stakeholders to ensuring successful, on-time delivery meeting business needs.
  • Develop comprehensive project documentation, including charters, business requirements, plans, and risk/issue logs.
  • Monitor project progress, resources, and risks, identifying and escalating issues promptly and providing timely, clear updates and presentations to all stakeholders, including senior management.
  • Lead business analysis efforts, clarify requirements, and drive the development and implementation of innovative, efficient processes for Equities Operations.
  • Apply robust risk management practices and ensure regulatory compliance to protect the firm's reputation.
  • Drive resource planning and foster strong cross-functional collaboration across Business, Operations, Technology, Compliance, and other departments.
  • Champion change management and undertake additional strategic projects/tasks as required.
  • Manage end-to-end projects for Futures, Derivatives and Clearing, (FDC) Operations and for global projects
  • Prepare and provide updates on project status to senior stakeholders
  • Highlight potential risks/issues within projects
  • Actively participate in project communication meetings and forums
  • Undertake other assigned projects / tasks as requested
  • Following up with stakeholders on delivery of their tasks
  • Coordination and communication of deliverables to stakeholders in project
  • Providing artefacts to the Global Program coordinators to evidence completion of milestones
  • Develop innovative and efficient processes for FDC Operations
  • Work with Business, Operations, Technology, and Compliance and other functions
  • Structure and develop PowerPoint presentations for senior management
  • Champion change management
