About The Position

Our Project Management team plays a pivotal role in helping utility customers successfully implement and adopt our platform—from onboarding through to ongoing configuration and maximized value realization. As a Project Manager, you will leverage industry knowledge, effective communication, and strong leadership skills to guide utility clients in water, gas, or electric sectors through each phase of their journey with AMCS.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of project management experience within the utility industry (water, gas, electric) or in customer-facing roles deploying or supporting software solutions for utilities.
  • Strong familiarity with utility operations, asset management, and sector-specific business challenges.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, able to tailor messaging for technical and business stakeholders alike.
  • Proven ability to facilitate collaborative discussions, challenge assumptions constructively, and influence customer decisions.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Demonstrable project management expertise, complemented by strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Results-driven with excellent teamwork and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end project lifecycle, from customer onboarding, system configuration, and training through to adoption and retention.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand and analyze business requirements and workflows, translating them into actionable project plans and solution configurations.
  • Provide clear, engaging product training and support tailored to a range of users including executives, operations teams, and field workers.
  • Partner closely with internal teams such as Solution Engineering, Account Management, and Support to deliver seamless customer experiences.
  • Proactively manage project scope, schedule, budgets, and risks, ensuring alignment with customer objectives and AMCS delivery standards.
  • Create and maintain detailed project documentation including technical specifications, training content, and communication materials.
  • Be a trusted point of contact, using empathy and confidence to lead consultative conversations, resolve challenges, and drive strategic alignment.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks or blockers, escalating when necessary to maintain smooth project progress.
  • Continuously seek improvements to project methodologies and customer engagement techniques to boost satisfaction and success.
