About The Position

The Westover Companies is a family-owned and operated property management company. We are located in King of Prussia area and have operated for over fifty years with the purpose of providing quality living, shopping and working space for residents and customers. As the Project Manager, your job is to plan, budget, oversee and document all aspects of the specific project you are working on. Project Managers may work closely with upper management to make sure that the scope and direction of each project is on schedule, as well as other departments for support.

Requirements

  • Identify safety and hazardous conditions and report to Supervisor
  • Follow Company operational and safety procedures

  • Attend Continuing Education Courses when required and make sure employees are taking required courses
  • Promote and follow Westover Policy and Procedures as well as Corporate Values
  • All other tasks assigned by Westover

Responsibilities

  • Create a scope of work and a Budget for the project
  • Bid upcoming projects from the capital improvement list as they’re given to you
  • Award projects once proposals have been reviewed by Supervisor and contract has been signed
  • Inspect and monitor projects to ensure that the scope of work is being followed
  • Ensure that a high level of quality control is followed on every project
  • At completion of project create punch lists, or during the project if the project is longer in duration
  • Take Pictures of jobs for project file
  • Make sure punch lists are completed
  • Sign off on projects upon completion
  • Work with property managers, maintenance staff and regional managers on project coordination
  • Inspect properties for potential liability or problems and report back to Supervisor
  • Create lists of work that needs to be completed at each property and will be prioritized for completion and given to the Special Projects Crew. If the job is too big or needs a contractor, the job will be bid out
  • Keep projects on budget and on time. Change Orders must be signed off on in the case of time sensitive situation a verbal approval can be made. Verbal change orders will be followed up with a signed change order
  • Complete Weekly Status Reports and send them every Tuesday morning to Supervisor
  • Annual property inspections will take place every May into July
  • When requested, find new qualified contractors
  • Verifying contractor’s insurance is up to date before commencement of job
  • Assist in any other tasks assigned by Supervisor
  • Attend continuing education courses when required
