This position is located in Roy, UT and supports the Sentinel Program This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 2 years of related experience; 0 Years with Masters or an additional 4 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD security clearance (Secret, Top Secret; etc.).
  • Experience in project management/ execution and closeout.
  • Skilled use of Microsoft Office Products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Project Management principles.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to establish a solid working relationship with technical staff, peers, and customers.
  • Experience planning, scheduling, and managing projects.
  • Experience developing content, packaging, and briefing communication to small groups.
  • Experience in Agile, Jira and Scrum Master.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP Certification.
  • Current/Active Special Program Access (SAP).
  • Active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization and with outside organizations.
  • At least 2 years of experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison between projects and stakeholders, regularly reviewing status, managing schedules, and preparing reports.
  • Apply knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques across all project phases—Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring & Controlling, and Closing—to deliver projects on time, within scope, on budget, and with high quality.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans that encompass such items as work breakdown structures, detailed schedules, cost estimates, and resource allocations.
  • Continuously monitor progress, track performance, and report status.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and opportunities, ensuring compliance with standards such as Earned Value Management and aligning deliverables with Northrop Grumman requirements.
  • Demonstrate strong soft skill capabilities, including effective communication, leadership, problem solving, and negotiation.
  • Uphold company values, make business savvy decisions, and foster collaboration.
  • Frequent use and general knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards.
  • General application of concepts, and principles.
  • Demonstrates the skill and ability to perform moderately complex professional tasks.
  • Develops solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.
  • Works under only very general supervision. Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall adequacy and accuracy.
  • Contributes to the completion of organizational projects and goals. Errors in judgement or failure to achieve results would normally require a moderate expenditure of resources to rectify.
  • Frequent internal company and external contacts. Represents organization on specific projects. May make presentations to small groups.
