Clune Construction is seeking Project Managers for various and unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S. (HQ: Chicago, IL). This role involves planning and coordinating the completion of construction projects, including laboratory projects. Responsibilities include active participation in RFP responses, developing presentations, and participating in pitches. The Project Manager will be responsible for internal team communication flow and ensuring timely and effective communication with trade partners and the design team. They will also perform document control reporting and communication flow to the client. Key duties include preparing accurate budgets, estimates, and bids, conducting scope reviews, and leveling trade partner bids. The role involves managing project cost control, including monitoring general conditions and labor, managing the monthly billing process, and reviewing trade partner change pricing. Minimizing risk through accurate subcontracts and ensuring timely execution is crucial. The Project Manager will coordinate heavily with the superintendent, including frequent site visits to monitor progress. They will ensure effective project closeout, including providing documentation to the owner, completing punchlists, and managing financial closeout. The role also supports the Project Team Lead in client retention, contributing to project buyout, accurate cost forecasting, and timely submission of billings and receivables using CMiC/Procore. Business development and client relationship management are also part of the role, as is mentoring interns, project engineers, and APMs.
