About The Position

Three Rivers Park District is seeking to fill the position of Project Manager at our Administrative Center in Plymouth, MN. This position is responsible for managing complex projects and programs related to system-wide engineering, design, construction, and redevelopment of facilities in a manner that will guarantee a high standard of quality, consistent with all laws, regulations, and Three Rivers Park District policies and mission. A natural resources-based park system, Three Rivers Park District manages more than 27,000 acres of parks and trails in the Twin Cities area. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture, Architecture, or related field from an accredited college or university.
  • A minimum of 6 (six) years of progressively responsible experience in directly related project and program management work.
  • Valid Class D Minnesota driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience leading and managing design and construction projects, including technical design, preparation and interpretation of plans and specifications, and coordination with staff, contractors, and consultants.
  • Experience with infrastructure management, including bridges and pavements, as well as active transportation design.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and working knowledge of AutoCAD, Cartegraph and ArcGIS.
  • Registered professional licensure.

  • Communicating effectively and tactfully with staff, elected officials, outside agencies, consultants, and park patrons.

  • Developing and managing scope.
  • Maintaining a high standard of customer service.
