A client is significantly expanding the number of health systems into their Health Information Exchange and is seeking Project Managers to navigate the integration. We are seeking experienced Project Managers, preferably with healthcare and informatics experience. This engagement is expected to last 12 months or longer. This individual will need to be motivated, driven, and have clinical informatics experience, preferably with an Electronic Health Records (EHR) or Health Information Exchange (HIE) perspective. A mature business presence to successfully engage with internal and external business partners is required. The following roles and responsibilities entail most of what this role may be asked to do but will expand based on the individual’s and organization’s needs.

Requirements

4-year college degree
At least 5 years of project management experience
Able to lead others through influence
Technically savvy
Experience in health systems or health information exchanges
Strong organizational skills
Maintain a professional presence
Business maturity
Effective communication skills
Comfortable operating in a healthcare technology environment where accuracy, professionalism, and clear communication matter

Responsibilities

Develop detailed project plans including deliverables, capability needed, and budgets
Track progress across internal and external deliverables and provide insight into task priority, on-time delivery, project feasibility, budget, etc.
Identify and manage project risks as appropriate
Steward the project management system
Effectively communicate across key partners and stakeholders, but internally and externally
Liaise both internally and externally to ensure projects deliver on time and everyone understands current status
Liaise with new facilities and offices integrating their health systems
Partner internally and externally to prioritize work, activity, and to solve challenges and issues
Ensure seamless communication across the entire program
Develop customer onboarding playbook and customize as required for each new health system
Communicate and manage customer relationships including key escalations and decisions
Develop and deliver training to new facilities and health systems
Drive operational meetings including agenda, facilitation, and minutes
May support broader partner work and initiatives beyond this program
