About The Position

IBG (Innovative Beauty Group) is a global one-stop beauty shop that partners with clients to bring beauty visions to life. IBG North America specializes in turnkey solutions, private label, and packaging in the beauty industry. The New York team is looking for a Project Manager to take ownership of client projects from concept through to delivery. This role involves managing new launches for full turnkey, stock packaging, and fragrance projects, ensuring on-time delivery, targeted margin, and adherence to customer quality and timing expectations. The ideal candidate has a strong project management background with hands-on product development experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Science/Cosmetics, Fashion Management, Business/Marketing
• 3-5 years experience in a previous project management or product development role
• Project planning experience
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Working knowledge of Wrike, and ClickUp or other Project Management tools is an asset

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working with fragrance houses, international factories and vendors strongly preferred
• Previous experience in beauty or personal care considered an asset

Responsibilities

• Organize Kick off meeting with Sales, Quality & NPD management and define best approach (approved vendors, risk assessments, etc.)
• Source accessory, packaging and/or formula based on customer brief.
• Source and vet vendors compatible with project and regulatory requirements
• Negotiate with suppliers to get the right cost to meet IBG target margins & customer target price
• Prepare Costing sheets & monitor target margin.
• Request samples and compare for quality and performance before submitting to customer.
• Work with Quality/Regulatory team to ensure formula meets customer blacklist and is compliant with country of sell.
• Manage & lead new WON projects to meet expected target.
• Lead Communication between with Internal & External teams
• Create, monitor & communicate Timeline/Critical Path with Internal & External Teams
