An established commercial mechanical contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its growing Special Projects Division. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys managing multiple commercial HVAC and plumbing projects in a fast-paced environment while building strong relationships with clients and field teams. The company is looking for someone who values integrity, quality craftsmanship, and long-term relationships.
Requirements
- 3+ years of Project Management experience with a commercial mechanical contractor.
- Experience managing HVAC and plumbing construction projects.
- Strong understanding of project financials, scheduling, contract administration, and cost control.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Manage commercial mechanical projects from award through closeout.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts.
- Oversee RFIs, submittals, procurement, change orders, billing, and project documentation.
- Coordinate with Superintendents, field personnel, subcontractors, vendors, engineers, and owners.
- Monitor project financial performance to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships that generate repeat business.
