About The Position

This is a full-time, direct placement role at Eberhard Southwest Roofing. The Project Manager reports directly to the Vice President and works collectively with superintendents and office staff. The role requires thorough product knowledge and understanding of specification reading. Responsibilities include conducting online and field take-offs, creating estimates, writing proposals and bids, and managing projects to attain cost and profitability goals. The Project Manager is responsible for the successful completion of the project, not just sales, and works directly with customers and field supervisors in project execution. Great communication skills are essential, and the role involves representing the company at sales functions and public relations opportunities. The working conditions are mostly an office environment, with field visits to jobsites as needed, and potential attendance at weekly subcontractor meetings with General Contractors at jobsites.

Requirements

• Thorough product knowledge and understanding of specification reading
• Knowledge, skill, and ability in sales, estimating, and project management principles
• Knowledge of project accounting
• Roofing industry knowledge
• People skills
• Knowledge of office software including excel, word, blue beam and adobe acrobat
• Great communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Some college level training is preferred

Responsibilities
