Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a related project management position

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree preferred
  • Certified Healthcare Professional, PMP Certification, or Certified Six Sigma Black Belt is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Developing implementation plans for assigned moderate to highly complex improvement projects - working with stakeholders to ensure alignment of the desired scope and results by creating a process to bring it to fruition.
  • Delegation and monitoring of progress of tasks assigned to project resources for multiple concurrent projects.
  • Use of applicable computerized systems (i.e. Tableau dashboards) to monitor progress and performance metrics.
  • Assist the organization with enhancing our accountability.
  • Monitor assigned projects to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Ownership of maintaining communication with project teams, leaders and other stakeholders including communicating project status, progress and challenges.
  • Role will be primarily assigned across one or more clinical/non-clinical domain areas and support projects across each areas operating plan.
  • Works with the departmental team and other departments (eg. Nursing, Support Services, etc.) to define projects and set the project scope; plans for project resource requirements (time, labor, and/or financial); set deadlines and track progress.
  • Ensures completion of team administrative functions in order to promote effective meetings.
  • Manages multiple projects through prioritization and delegation, as appropriate, in consultation with the department manager.
  • Use a limited tool set of improvement methods to assist teams in solving problems
  • Analyzes and interprets data collected from various database systems to identify performance improvement opportunities.
  • Assist with defining and tracking success metrics for improvement initiatives.
  • Provides graphical analysis to establish relationships in data, and reach supportable conclusions based on available data.
  • Uses benchmarking processes to identify best practices.
  • Develop reports and query databases for custom reports to support the teams informed decision making and appropriate reporting of the data to the appropriate committees.
  • Lead efforts to maintain and manage all data management programs as appropriate.
  • Provide project management support as needed for identified projects that are prioritized by the enterprise
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Ad hoc responsibilities across clinical domains or other areas of need
