About The Position

The Project Manager will be responsible for the completion and execution of Building Automation System (BAS) projects. This role requires extensive knowledge of HVAC and BAS systems, including architectural layouts, equipment, design, and installations. The Project Manager will monitor and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they run smoothly from start to finish. This includes managing jobs in the field, organizing schedules, communicating with subcontractors, and working closely with coordinators. The company has been in business for over 25 years and serves a diverse range of clients including Critical Systems/Data Centers, Pharmaceuticals Facilities, Industrial Sites, Hospitality and Entertainment Venues, Healthcare Buildings and Campuses, Education Facilities, and Commercial Office Buildings and Campuses. They offer a mix of Design-build/New Construction, and Service Work/Services in Controls Automation, Energy Management, and Building Efficiency.

Requirements

Prior experience as a BAS Project Manager or similar position.
Well versed in financial forecasting, project budgeting, and setting deadlines within project scopes.
Fundamental understanding of BAS programming or engineering.
Extensive knowledge of HVAC and BAS architectural layouts, equipment, design, and installations.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the completion and execution of the Building Automation Projects.
Monitoring and managing multiple projects at a single time.
Responsible for managing jobs in the field, organizing schedules, communicating with subcontractors, and working close with coordinators.
Create guidelines as well as direct and organize the field labor force.
Ensure that the correct equipment is purchased and delivered on time for specific jobs.
Work alongside management to ensure pre-book reviews and documentations are executed correctly.
Review contract documentations for scope requirements.
Consistently in the field ensuring that projects are running smoothly.
Manage and create change orders efficiently.
Create RFI’s and any close out documentation.
