About The Position

KTGY is seeking a Project Manager for their Washington, D.C. High Density studio. This role is responsible for bringing project visions and stories into reality by combining technical savvy, organizational skills, and design thinking to create documents for the built project. The Project Manager will coordinate between design teams, clients, and consultants, ensuring smooth communication, project flow, and successful execution of budgets, schedules, and quality control. Expertise in building codes, construction methodologies, and industry standards is essential for translating design concepts into buildable structures.

Responsibilities

Applies experience and knowledge to proactively solve design challenges.
Orchestrates coordination efforts with consultants and challenges the team to always look for innovative solutions.

Leads detailing efforts.
Works closely with Senior Designer or Designer to ensure the project vision and story is carried through to the built result.
Sets project pace and rhythm.

Takes a proactive and systematic approach to QA/QC to ensure that the project deliverables meet the required quality standards.
Communicates with principals and studio leaders providing comprehensive updates on project progress, financials, and key decisions, seeking strategic input and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
Proactively seeks to understand the unique needs, perspectives, and aspirations of all stakeholders, including clients, end-users, and the project team.
