About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in Capital Markets to join our team in Toronto, Canada. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale business and technology transformation initiatives within the banking and capital markets industry. This role requires deep expertise in various aspects of capital markets operations, including products, trade lifecycle, settlement/clearing, regulatory reporting, trading platforms, and market data systems. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing stakeholders, vendors, budgets, risks, and governance throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• 12+ years of Project/Program Management experience in Banking & Capital Markets.
• Strong expertise in delivering large-scale business and technology transformation initiatives.
• Experience with Capital Markets products, trade lifecycle, settlement/clearing, regulatory reporting, trading platforms, and market data systems.
• Proven stakeholder, vendor, budget, risk, and governance management skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with stock exchanges, electronic trading platforms, and market infrastructure.
• PMP/Agile certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver large-scale business and technology transformation initiatives within the Banking & Capital Markets sector.
• Oversee all aspects of the project lifecycle, from initiation to closure.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
