About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead multiple concurrent facility projects across Palm Beach Gardens site. This individual will be responsible for managing projects from initiation and planning through design, procurement, construction, commissioning, turnover, and closeout. The successful candidate will have at least 10 years of project management experience, with a strong background in facility, infrastructure, renovation, and capital improvement projects within an active operating environment. The Project Manager must be comfortable coordinating multiple stakeholders, contractors, consultants, and site functions while maintaining project safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, project management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience managing facility, infrastructure, renovation, or capital projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple projects with competing priorities.
  • Experience managing projects within active commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical, life sciences, medical-device, healthcare, or similarly regulated facilities.
  • Strong knowledge of project planning, design management, construction management, cost control, scheduling, procurement, risk management, and change management.
  • Experience coordinating contractors, design consultants, vendors, and cross-functional site teams.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and commonly used project management and scheduling tools.
  • Ability to work onsite at the Palm Beach Gardens facility five days per week.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience delivering projects within a pharmaceutical, life sciences, medical-device, or regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with project delivery processes, standards, and systems.
  • PMP, PE, CCM, or another relevant professional certification.
  • Experience managing mechanical, electrical, HVAC, utility, laboratory, office, building infrastructure, and site improvement projects.
  • Knowledge of commissioning, qualification, and facility turnover requirements

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple facility and infrastructure projects across the Palm Beach Gardens site.
  • Lead projects through planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, turnover, and closeout.
  • Develop and maintain project scopes, budgets, schedules, execution plans, risk registers, and procurement strategies.
  • Coordinate with site engineering, facilities, operations, EHS, quality, security, IT, maintenance, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Manage architectural, engineering, construction, and specialty contractor activities.
  • Lead project meetings and communicate progress, upcoming work, risks, decisions, and required actions.
  • Monitor project costs, forecasts, commitments, invoices, changes, and contingency.
  • Review contractor schedules, proposals, change orders, submittmits, RFIs, and other project documentation.
  • Identify project risks and roadblocks and develop appropriate mitigation and recovery plans.
  • Ensure work is executed safely and in accordance with J&J requirements, site procedures, applicable codes, and regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate construction activities within an occupied and operational facility while minimizing disruption to site operations.
  • Support permitting, shutdown planning, commissioning, qualification, and operational turnover activities, as applicable.
  • Maintain complete project records and ensure timely financial and administrative closeout.
  • Provide clear and timely reporting to site leadership and project stakeholders.
