About The Position

The Project Manager supports the US business by leading strategic, high-impact projects across the US project portfolio. The role manages project development and rollout activities in priority markets and supports implementation of the global support concept for deployed solutions. Initial assignments are expected to include digital platform and innovative commercial model projects with high business visibility. The role involves defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, success measures, and delivery plans. It requires leading global, cross-functional project teams in a matrix organization and establishing clear roles, governance, and ways of working. The Project Manager will plan and coordinate development, market execution, and implementation activities for strategic solutions, fostering clear communication and leveraging international perspectives. Resource planning, management within agreed parameters, and application of appropriate project management methodologies are key. The role also includes identifying, assessing, managing, and escalating project risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions, as well as managing stakeholders and preparing project reporting. Tracking delivery outcomes and supporting benefits realization post-implementation are also part of the scope. The role is focused on individual project leadership within the US project portfolio, with no direct-report responsibility specified. The geographic scope is global, with delivery and rollout activities across priority markets. Project scope includes strategic, commercially focused, and potentially operations-related projects with high business impact and board-level visibility. Delivery accountability covers scope, deliverables, resources, schedule, quality, cost, risks, issues, stakeholder alignment, reporting, and benefits realization. The working model involves remote and hybrid collaboration across cross-functional teams in a matrix organization. Occasional domestic and international travel is required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
  • Project management qualification or certification is essential.
  • 3+ years relevant professional project management experience
  • Experience delivering projects using project management methodologies, tools, and techniques appropriately.
  • Experience leading or coordinating cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.
  • Ability to define scope and deliverables and manage delivery within time, quality, and cost parameters.
  • Strong resource planning, risk and issue management, stakeholder management, and project reporting capabilities.
  • Ability to distill complex concepts into succinct, understandable formats for varied audiences.
  • Clear and direct communicator who can foster alignment across international, remote, and hybrid teams.
  • Pragmatic and adaptable approach, including the ability to work with varying levels of requirements maturity and embrace change to maximize value.
  • Ability to leverage diverse international perspectives and collaborate effectively across cultures and functions.
  • Strong ownership, organization, judgment, and focus on measurable delivery outcomes.
  • Willingness and ability to travel occasionally within the United States and internationally as business needs require.
