About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to join our project management team in Oberlin, OH. The Project Manager provides administrative, logistical, and coordination support to the Project Management team delivering automation and service projects for greenhouse and horticulture clients. This role ensures project documentation, scheduling, procurement tracking, and communication workflows are organized and accurate. The Project Manager plays a critical role in keeping projects on track by supporting timelines, managing records, coordinating field activities, and maintaining communication between internal teams, vendors, and customers. Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in engineering, manufacturing or business field
  • 3+ years of Excel and Microsoft platforms
  • 3+ years of administrative, project coordination, construction support, or technical office experience
  • Valid driver’s license (required for work-related travel)
  • Effectively communicate with project stakeholders
  • Effective conflict resolution
  • Strong problem solving and organizational skills
  • Flexible and focused under changing conditions
  • Remain calm under pressure and focus on completing every detail
  • Accountable for mistakes and accomplishments

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in construction, automation, manufacturing, agriculture, or industrial environments preferred
  • Familiarity with scheduling or project tracking tools preferred
  • Proficiency in Excel and experience in Smartsheet and/or Salesforce is highly recommended but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Project Administration & Coordination Maintain project files, schedules, and documentation in project management software
  • Assist in developing and updating project timelines and status reports
  • Track deliverables, submittals, change orders, and closeout documentation
  • Prepare meeting agendas and capture meeting notes/action items
  • Procurement & Logistics Support Assist with purchase order creation and tracking
  • Coordinate material deliveries with vendors and field teams
  • Track lead times and support inventory coordination
  • Monitor equipment shipments and update project schedules accordingly
  • Communication & Reporting Serve as administrative liaison between internal stakeholders, vendors, and customers
  • Provide regular project updates to internal stakeholders
  • Support preparation of client-facing status reports
  • Maintain organized records of contracts, proposals, and project documentation
