CORE Transformers is seeking a Project Manager who combines strong execution skills with exceptional customer communication. In this role, you’ll guide electrical transformer projects from pre-sales coordination through manufacturing, testing, delivery, and closeout—bringing teams together, anticipating challenges, and keeping customers informed every step of the way. Requirements

  • Five or more years of project, program, or operations leadership experience in manufacturing, industrial equipment, electrical products, or an engineered-to-order environment.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related field.
  • A track record of managing complex projects with multiple units, extended timelines, and firm deadlines.
  • Strong leadership, organization, communication, and customer relationship skills, with the ability to influence across teams.
  • Working knowledge of ERP/CRM workflows, supply chain fundamentals, and manufacturing processes.
  • A hands-on approach and the ability to succeed in a fast-paced, growing business.
  • Availability for occasional travel of less than 10%.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP certification or an MBA is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage schedules, scope, budgets, and milestones to deliver projects on time and meet customer expectations.
  • Serve as a primary customer contact, providing clear updates, managing expectations, and resolving escalations.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure smooth handoffs and execution.
  • Coordinate submittments, manufacturing drawings, revisions, and change orders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify risks, track costs and profitability, and manage scope changes with discipline.
  • Strengthen project plans, reporting, and processes to reduce delays and improve delivery predictability.
