About The Position

THP Limited, Inc. is seeking a full-time licensed structural engineer or registered architect and Project Manager with 5+ years of experience to join our team in Raleigh, NC. This role involves the assessment and design of various new and existing building envelope systems, including masonry, stone, curtain walls, EIFS, metal plate, skylight elements, and roofing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating projects, acting as a primary contact for design teams, performing assessment, design, and construction administration duties, directing staff, conducting assessments of existing structures, nurturing client relationships, participating in business development, and contributing to team member development.

Requirements

5-10 years’ experience in the design of various building envelope systems.
Registration as a PE or RA is required.
Experience working in Revit.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Project management and building envelope design background preferred

Responsibilities

Plan, develop, and coordinate projects of various sizes.
Act as primary contact as part of a multi-disciplined design team.
Perform assessment, design, and construction administration duties related to building envelope systems.
Direct the work of staff members and be in responsible charge of all phases of assessment, design, and construction administration.
Conduct or direct assessments of existing structures.
Nurture client relationships and participate in business development activities.
Participate in team member development and education.
