About The Position

Sanctuary Recovery Centers is seeking a dynamic and purpose-driven Project Coordinator & Peer Support Specialist to join our leadership support team. This unique role blends strategic project management with direct recovery support, offering an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on both organizational growth and the lives of individuals in recovery. This role works directly with executive leadership, including the CEO, to coordinate and drive high-level initiatives across the organization. Projects may include policy development, program expansion, compliance initiatives, and strategic planning. In addition, this position provides Peer Support Services in alignment with AHCCCS standards, using lived experience to support individuals on their recovery journey.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute projects assigned by executive leadership
  • Develop timelines, milestones, and deliverables across departments
  • Track progress and provide updates to leadership
  • Identify and resolve barriers to project completion
  • Facilitate cross-departmental communication and collaboration
  • Review and improve organizational policies, procedures, and workflows
  • Research regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Draft and implement policies and training materials
  • Support continuous quality improvement initiatives
  • Develop high-level written materials such as: Grant applications and proposals, Executive reports and communications, Program development documents
  • Support organizational initiatives through research and documentation
  • Act as liaison with courts, probation, parole, and community partners
  • Represent the organization in meetings and collaborative initiatives
  • Build and maintain strong external partnerships
  • Provide recovery support through lived experience
  • Assist individuals with goal-setting, recovery planning, and resource navigation
  • Promote engagement in treatment and community integration
  • Maintain documentation in compliance with AHCCCS requirements
  • Support recovery-oriented programming and peer engagement activities
