About The Position

Peraton requires a Project Manager to support the Special Operations Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) – 3. This position is located at Hurlburt Field, FL. The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end-user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.

Requirements

  • Min 10 years of experience.
  • Active DoD TS/SCI clearance.
  • Proven ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • Must be with DoW 8140 compliant under the Work Role Code 802 – IT Project Manager - Intermediate level or higher by 1 Oct 26.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is desired.
  • Prior experience managing IT projects is desired.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, leads, and manages personnel responsible for the organization's portfolio of projects and maintains efficiency of important project management aspects such as planning, scheduling, and budget and risk assessment.
  • Develops and executes against project objectives by collaborating with the customer on needs and goals, project proposals, project plans, and intermediate execution status.
  • Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements, assigning personnel to phases and elements, and reviewing bids from contractors.
  • Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards, completing technical studies, and preparing cost estimates.
  • Confirms product performance by designing and conducting tests.
  • Determines and maintains project schedule by studying project plan and specifications, calculating time requirements, sequencing project elements, and maintaining project schedule.
  • Controls project plans by reviewing designs, specifications, schedule changes, and recommending actions.
  • Controls project costs by approving expenditures and administering contractor contracts.
  • Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends, and recommending actions.
  • Responsible for technical/operational leadership of a project/mission within the programmatic guidelines set by the program manager and customer.
  • Defines, generates, and reviews project requirements documentation; performs technical studies to refine project requirements.
  • Monitors projects to ensure work scope, schedule, and budget are well defined and maintained.
  • Some positions may require shift work and/or an ability to work a non-standard work schedule to support the USSOCOM mission.
