About The Position
The Third Estimate is seeking a detail-driven Field Project Manager with experience in roofing and windows to lead residential exterior projects. This role involves full ownership from takeoffs and ordering to scheduling, walkthroughs, and final completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing budgets, timelines, and ensuring a top-tier customer experience. This position offers true ownership and accountability in a leadership capacity.
Requirements
- 3+ years experience in roofing and/or window project management
- Strong knowledge of takeoffs, materials, and installation processes
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and budgets
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and accountability
- Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce is a plus)
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record

Responsibilities
- Manage roofing and windows jobs from kickoff through completion
- Accurately measure, estimate, and order all materials
- Coordinate crews, deliveries, and timelines to keep jobs on track
- Monitor costs, control job profitability, and avoid overages
- Communicate clearly with homeowners and ensure satisfaction
- Conduct pre-construction meetings and final inspections
- Address issues in real time to prevent delays or callbacks
- Work closely with sales, production, and customer service
