About The Position

Alliance Automation began operations in August 2008, seizing an opportunity to provide automation solutions to underserved industries. Our innovative thinkers design and build robotic automation systems that optimize production processes. We provide automation solutions for a multitude of industries; each helping upgrade efficiency, increase throughput and guarantee reliability in production. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for driving the successful execution of automation projects from inception to completion. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment with customer expectations, manage project budgets, timelines, and quality standards, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Requirements

  • 3-7 years of project management experience, preferably in automation, manufacturing, or industrial solutions.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies.
  • Experience managing budgets, project timelines, and quality expectations.
  • Proficiency in project management tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Possess a general understanding in the areas of mechanical engineering (tooling design, machining processes); electrical engineering (controls & automation) & machine building practices.
  • Solid technical understanding to enable them to maintain all the things necessary for the project.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Execute project alignment with customer expectations, including understanding customer expectations & goals, managing communication, adjusting to changes, handling scope creep, and conflict resolution.
  • Own project budget, timeline, and quality expectations by establishing budgets, managing and monitoring expenses, forecasting, controlling financial risks, reporting, creating and maintaining a realistic timeline, managing delays and issues, and ensuring quality assurance processes adherence.
  • Coordinate stakeholder engagement by identifying internal stakeholders, understanding stakeholder needs and expectations, developing a stakeholder engagement plan, facilitating two-way communication, managing stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle, and building and maintaining relationships.
  • Deliver exceptional customer experience by personalizing the customer journey, delivering added value, monitoring satisfaction, going the extra mile, anticipating needs, and embracing customer feedback.
  • Project management process execution, including executing the project plan and management of all project milestones, meetings, and process steps, as well as team leadership.
  • Lead automation projects from initiation to completion, ensuring scope, budget, and timeline adherence.
  • Proactively manage project risks, develop mitigation plans, and implement solutions.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
  • Conduct regular stakeholder meetings to report progress and resolve project challenges.
  • Work closely with engineers, developers, and vendors to maintain workflow efficiency.
  • Optimize project processes and identify areas for continuous improvement.
