Leads, directs and coordinates the day-to-day management of the project. This role involves leading the development of high-performance teams through supervision, training, coaching, and mentoring, ensuring regular feedback and timely performance appraisals. The Project Manager is responsible for managing and developing assigned staff, fostering strong client relationships to achieve 'trusted advisor' status, and understanding/administering contract and subcontract agreements. This position also involves promoting community involvement, fostering architect, subcontractor, and vendor relations, and establishing/managing the Master Project Schedule. The role may include working with the preconstruction team, managing the project budget and financial reporting, overseeing the Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) program, and providing leadership in risk evaluation, contract negotiations, fee, and pricing decisions. The Project Manager must understand and advise on business ethics and compliance programs, demonstrate high standards of personal accountability and integrity, and mentor staff accordingly. Responsibilities extend to managing and overseeing field operations and engineering processes, driving team competencies in insurance, labor relations, and employee relations, and enforcing safety protocols. The role also involves working with Finance to initiate and follow up on the Pay Application process, keeping management informed of project and budget progress through Operations Review Meetings, and supporting the utilization of Turner initiatives, including emerging technologies and innovations. Additionally, the Project Manager provides leadership to foster an environment of diversity and inclusion.
