Your future role Take on a new challenge and apply your project management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and driven teammates. You'll play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality propulsion unit solutions to customers, ensuring projects are executed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of excellence. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, design, production, and supply chain), act as the primary liaison with third-party customers and sister sites, and drive project financials, including budgeting, cost tracking, and contract accountability, and much more.

Requirements

  • Degree in project management, engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading cross-functional teams and managing customer-facing projects
  • Formal project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA Level C or equivalent)
  • Experience driving site/business change and engaging with third‑party customers
  • Knowledge of project planning, risk management, budgeting, and change control processes
  • Familiarity with stakeholder management and customer relationship building - strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to coordinate across engineering, production, design, and supply chain teams
  • Proficiency in managing project financials, including budgeting and cost tracking
  • Adaptability to drive process and organizational change

  • Rail or industrial experience
  • Experience with hardware/manufacturing/sales‑to‑customer projects

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating across engineering, design, production, and supply chain to ensure products meet customer requirements and delivery dates
  • Driving project financials, including budgeting, cost tracking, and accountability to customer contracts
  • Owning project planning, risk management, change control, and reporting to stakeholders
  • Helping transform the site toward autonomous third-party business growth by driving process and organizational change
  • Conducting on-site customer meetings, project reviews, and site visits as required
  • Managing and coordinating cross-functional teams and external customers effectively
  • Delivering stakeholder presentations as needed
  • Supporting the recruiting and interviewing process
  • Demonstrating strong communication, stakeholder management, and customer-facing skills
