About The Position

Whitefox Technologies is seeking a Project Manager to lead the safe, on-time, and on-budget delivery of membrane technology projects for ethanol producers. This role is part of a small, agile team and is performed remotely from the Midwest USA. The Project Manager reports to the Head of Execution and works closely with customers and commercial, engineering, customer support, and operations teams to deliver customer and internal projects. The successful candidate will be a structured, hands-on project leader with an engineering foundation, strong financial awareness, and experience delivering complex, multi-stakeholder projects in an industrial environment. The role involves approximately 40% travel to support customer site activities. Requirements

University degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
At least 5 years of experience within an industrial environment.
Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, project management software, and MRP systems.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects, budgets, and cost controls while meeting demanding deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication, sound judgment, and strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently while remaining highly collaborative, with clear ownership and accountability for results.
Ability to travel approximately 40% to support customer site activities.

Nice To Haves

Experience with SAP Business ByDesign.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end delivery of assigned customer and internal projects, including scope, schedule, and budget.
Build and maintain project execution plans, including task lists, schedules, and resource loading.
Serve as the primary Whitefox point of contact for customers during project execution and deliver a consistent, positive client experience.
Identify and manage project risks, including clear mitigation and contingency plans.
Coordinate cross-functional project teams and keep team members aligned to project objectives.
Monitor budgets, track costs and report variances, and track invoicing, payments, equipment receipts, and project documentation.
Maintain accurate project records in SAP Business ByDesign and issue regular status reports to internal stakeholders and customers.
Support customer site activities as required, ensuring safe and effective on-site execution.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
