About The Position

Steampunk is seeking a creative and hands-on Project Manager to lead the complete life cycle of solution development and delivery for innovative technology solutions. This role involves providing Agile Project Management and Scrum Master support to Agile teams, coordinating with product owners and stakeholders on backlog prioritization, creating release schedules and roadmaps, and establishing technical practices and release management standards. The Project Manager will ensure teams effectively follow Agile scrum processes and drive high client satisfaction.

Requirements

Authorized to work for any U.S. employee and ability to obtain a U.S. government Public Trust Security Clearance.
4+ years managing IT projects using agile methodologies and approaches.
4+ year experience with Scrum/Kanban Methodologies.
4+ years hands-on experience in a Business Analyst role.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, MIS or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to establish immediate credibility with clients, build consensus, and achieve goals through influence.
Ability to help teams write user stories/epics, identify dependencies, and design optimal solutions.
Flexibility to work with teams, individuals and executives and willingness to help with a wide variety of work products and people.
Excellent interpersonal/communication skills.
Experience working in a studio / human centered design approach.
Ability to obtain DOD clearance.

Nice To Haves

PMP or PMI CAPM preferred.
Certified Scrum Master.
DOD Tier 3 clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

Team leadership for the complete life cycle of solution development and delivery.
Providing Agile Project Management support and Scrum Master support for Agile teams.

Establishing technical practices and release management standards that align with the customer's process.

Ensuring that designs align with client objectives in collaboration with the Technical Lead.
Learning how things worked in the past, presenting data about how things are now, and showing how it can improve by creating assets such as system maps and diagrams.
