About The Position

Under close supervision, responsible for supporting project planning and execution within defined parameters on smaller or less complex projects. The Project Manager I follows established processes while developing foundational project management skills. Our Goal is to provide interns with meaningful, hands-on experiences that contribute to business objectives while supporting their professional development. Interns are expected to apply Lean principles and continuous improvement thinking throughout their project work; Lean training and resources will be provided.

Requirements

• Pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Trello).
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Basic understanding of project management principles and terminology.

Nice To Haves

• Professional project management experience, internship, or co-op experience desirable

Responsibilities

• Assist in budget monitoring and cost tracking.
• Communicate project status updates to immediate manager and project team.
• Follow company policies and established project management methodologies.
• Help coordinate resource assignments and monitor utilization.
• Identify and report potential risks for review by senior staff.
• Maintain accurate documentation including project logs and records.
• Support schedule management by tracking milestones and updating schedules.
• Assist in developing detailed project plans outlining scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines.
