About The Position

Client is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of technology and business-focused initiatives. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and stakeholder communications while ensuring alignment with client's culture of innovation, integrity, customer focus, and collaboration. Ideal Candidate Profile Successful candidates will PUBLIC Sector Experience and demonstrate professionalism, strong communication skills, accountability, and the ability to build trust with stakeholders. This role requires someone who can lead delivery, manage complexity, communicate effectively with executives, and represent the organization well in client-facing environments. You are a proactive leader who can manage complex projects, build strong relationships with clients and internal teams, and drive measurable business outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of project management experience delivering technology and/or business transformation initiatives.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid approaches.
  • Demonstrated experience working with executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, Jira, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.
  • PUBLIC Sector Experience

Nice To Haves

  • PMP, CAPM, Agile, Scrum Master, or related certification.
  • Experience within infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, networking, or digital transformation projects.
  • Knowledge of financial tracking, forecasting, and portfolio management.
  • Experience supporting enterprise clients and large-scale technology implementations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects from initiation through closure, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource forecasts.
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively address risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and governance standards.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Facilitate executive-level communications, status reporting, and steering committee meetings.
  • Build strong partnerships with clients, delivery teams, vendors, and business leaders.
  • Manage expectations and ensure stakeholder alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Track project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.
  • Coordinate project resources to ensure optimal utilization and successful execution.
  • Support capacity planning and resource allocation efforts.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
  • Establish and maintain issue and action logs.
  • Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and customer expectations.
  • Drive continuous improvement and lessons learned activities.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
  • Lead cross-functional teams across business and technical organizations.
  • Coach team members and promote best practices in project management.
  • Support organizational change and transformation initiatives.
