About The Position

Tryfacta is seeking a Project Manager 1 for our client in Albany, NY, 12203. This is a temporary contract assignment. The role involves supporting the continuous improvement of existing programs in the multifamily sector, managing projects from initiation to completion, and developing relationships with key stakeholders. The position requires managing contractors, resolving project-related issues, supporting the development of PONs and RFPs, and participating in testing and measurement processes to maximize success. Advanced data analysis for reporting and strategy development, as well as evaluating program effectiveness, are also key components of this role. Other duties may be assigned to support the Multifamily Team's key outcomes.

Requirements

  • Strong project management skills and the ability to successfully multi-task, set priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Program implementation experience, especially for programs that require installation/construction of clean energy technology OR for programs that provide technical assistance for clean energy projects
  • Some knowledge of energy consuming systems commonly found in multifamily buildings, including but not limited to heating, ventilation and air-conditioning technologies, lighting and building envelope
  • Some knowledge of energy conservation measures in deep retrofit energy efficiency projects for existing multifamily buildings (e.g. Passive House, heat pumps, etc.) a plus
  • Has well developed understanding of relevant technical principles and their application to a program area.
  • Develops/formulates Deployment issues, problems and needs in at least one technical area.
  • Has acknowledged expertise at conceptual level of technical skills and knowledge in at least one program area.
  • Has basic understanding of State energy/environmental economic development issues.
  • Has developed and managed projects with little specific direction.
  • Develops new projects and co-funding sources with own initiative.

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, policy, public or business administration, architecture, real estate, urban planning, or related field

Responsibilities
