Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
  • Comfortable learning technical concepts and translating information for clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience in a client-facing, project coordination, account management, customer success, or project management role.
  • The client service mindset: genuinely enjoy working with people and building relationships; responsive, professional, and able to balance client expectations while delivering a high level of service; know how to communicate clearly and confidently.
  • The organizational skills: ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously without losing sight of the details; highly organized, proactive, and able to adapt quickly when priorities change.
  • The communication skills: ability to build credibility with clients and collaborate effectively with laboratory, operations, and technical teams; comfortable asking questions, sharing information, and navigating complex situations with professionalism and tact.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in environmental, laboratory, pharmaceutical, industrial, or other science-based environments.
  • Experience supporting environmental, laboratory, scientific, or technical services projects is considered a strong asset.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing environmental testing projects from initial request through final delivery.
  • Act as the bridge between clients, laboratory teams, and internal operations groups, ensuring projects move forward efficiently, deadlines are met, and clients receive an exceptional experience.
  • Work closely with laboratory operations, data entry, and technical teams to understand client requirements, coordinate testing activities, communicate results, and resolve issues.
  • Own the client relationship, helping them navigate environmental testing requirements, answering questions, solving challenges, and ensuring they receive an exceptional experience.
  • Bring people, processes, and projects together, acting as the connection point between clients, laboratory teams, and internal operations to keep work moving forward, remove roadblocks, and ensure testing projects are delivered accurately and on time.
  • Turn complexity into clarity by coordinating urgent requests, managing competing priorities, and communicating technical information to clients.
  • Build expertise in a highly specialized industry through hands-on exposure to laboratory operations, environmental testing, compliance requirements, and client management.
  • Make every day different by troubleshooting client issues, collaborating with laboratory teams on testing requirements, and identifying ways to improve processes and strengthen client partnerships.
