About The Position

Five Seasons Painting is a rapidly growing painting and coatings company in Florida, seeking a high-level Commercial Project Manager to oversee commercial painting and waterproofing projects across the state. This role is an opportunity to grow with a scaling company and play a significant part in building a top commercial painting contractor. The Commercial Project Manager will be responsible for managing large-scale operations, maintaining profitability, enforcing systems and standards, coordinating crews and subcontractors, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and with high quality. Projects include commercial new construction painting, apartment complex repaints, warehouse and industrial facilities, waterproofing and exterior restoration projects, large commercial repaints, and retail, office, and mixed-use properties. This position requires statewide travel throughout Florida.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of commercial construction or commercial painting project management experience
  • Experience managing large-scale commercial painting and/or waterproofing projects
  • Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, and job costing
  • Ability to read plans, specifications, and project scopes
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel throughout Florida regularly

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with commercial repaint and restoration work
  • Experience managing subcontractors and large crews
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
  • Experience with project management software and documentation systems

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple commercial projects simultaneously across Florida
  • Oversee scheduling, manpower allocation, production timelines, and jobsite coordination
  • Coordinate with superintendents, property managers, general contractors, vendors, and subcontractors
  • Conduct site visits and maintain strong field communication
  • Track job costing, labor hours, material usage, and profitability
  • Ensure projects remain on budget and profitable
  • Maintain detailed project documentation and reporting
  • Identify problems early and implement solutions proactively
  • Follow company systems, SOPs, and operational processes consistently
  • Hold crews and subcontractors accountable to company standards
  • Maintain high levels of quality control and customer satisfaction
  • Lead with professionalism, urgency, and ownership
  • Help improve systems and operational efficiency as the company scales
  • Protect and strengthen company culture
  • Provide clear updates internally and externally
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and field teams
  • Communicate issues early and professionally
  • Ensure all stakeholders remain informed throughout project lifecycles
