Palo Verde Painting, LLC is seeking to hire a Production Manager to join our growing and award-winning team in Arizona. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating field operations, managing crew schedules, overseeing production across multiple active jobs, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Requirements

  • Minimum 3–7 years of experience in painting, construction, or field operations
  • Experience managing crews and multiple active jobs
  • Strong scheduling and organizational skills
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Must pass Federal background check
  • Ability to perform physical labor throughout the entire shift including stooping, standing, climbing, and lifting up to 60 pounds
  • Comfortable working in both field and light administrative tasks

Nice To Haves

  • Flexibility to work some nights and/or weekends
  • Experience operating equipment such as electric and battery-powered scissors and boom lifts
  • Experience with commercial repaint and HOA projects
  • Basic understanding of labor productivity and job cost awareness

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage daily and weekly crew schedules
  • Allocate labor across multiple active jobs
  • Adjust schedules in real-time based on job progress and priorities
  • Coordinate manpower, sequencing, and production flow across projects
  • Set up jobs each morning including materials, access, and sequencing
  • Direct field crews across multiple commercial and residential projects
  • Perform jobsite visits for quality control and progress tracking
  • Troubleshoot field issues and maintain production flow
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Order and stage paint, materials, and equipment
  • Coordinate with vendors including Sherwin-Williams and Dunn-Edwards
  • Ensure crews have correct products, colors, and quantities
  • Pick up and deliver materials, when needed
  • Review and approve employee hours
  • Approve field expenses and purchases
  • Maintain job notes, photos, and production updates
  • Communicate with clients and other stakeholders to ensure needs and expectations are met or exceeded
  • Work effectively as part of a team with a strong work ethic and respectful attitude
  • Lead crews professionally and maintain accountability in the field
  • Demonstrate strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and at a high level of quality
