Ontivity is seeking an experienced Project Manager for its Professional Services team to manage and support national civil and electrical construction projects. This role will heavily involve bidding, estimating, and Request for Proposal (RFP) development, requiring close collaboration with engineering, construction, and operations teams to deliver competitive, accurate, and compliant proposals and projects. At Ontivity, you will work on nationwide construction programs, collaborate with experienced professionals, and play a key role in delivering high-quality infrastructure solutions across the U.S.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in construction project management
  • Experience with civil and/or electrical construction projects
  • Strong estimating, bidding, and proposal development/RFP support experience
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and estimating/project tracking tools
  • Strong organization and analytical skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in telecommunications infrastructure construction
  • Familiarity with national, multi-site construction programs
  • Working knowledge of scheduling software and cost control systems

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage construction bids and estimates for national civil and electrical projects
  • Lead and support RFP responses, including scope review, risk assessment, pricing strategy, schedule development, and final submission
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, construction, procurement, finance) during proposal and project execution phases
  • Support awarded projects with budgeting, cost tracking, project planning, scheduling, cost control, and change management processes
  • Develop detailed cost estimates including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders and clients to support successful outcomes
  • Track project performance metrics
  • Maintain proposal and project documentation in accordance with company standards
  • Assist with continuous improvement of estimating tools, templates, and processes
