About The Position

CIMCO Refrigeration is seeking a Project Manager with 3 to 5 years of experience in the field of construction and project management. This role will interest you if you take pride in the quality and efficiency of the projects you supervise, have a sense of urgency, are skilled at problem-solving, and possess exceptional cost and project management skills.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in the mechanical or refrigeration industry.
  • Technical training in mechanical engineering or construction management is an asset.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities.
  • Proven experience in establishing and maintaining effective relationships with clients, owners, and consultants.
  • Training and certification in all aspects of construction safety is an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and impeccable customer service.
  • Effective and confident team leadership.
  • Basic skills in AutoCAD.
  • Practical knowledge of MS Project.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical training in mechanical engineering or construction management is an asset.
  • Training and certification in all aspects of construction safety is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Build refrigeration projects (industrial and recreational) according to established budgets and schedules in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist all stakeholders in preparation, critical schedules, and quality control programs.
  • Monitor and maintain project schedules on a regular basis (typically weekly) and keep all stakeholders informed of critical developments.
  • Ensure complete client satisfaction by keeping them well-informed and exceeding their expectations.
  • Plan, coordinate, and effectively manage all labor, materials, and equipment required to meet the project’s budget, timeline, and objectives.
  • Fully understand and review all drawings and contractual specifications to identify errors, changes, omissions, cost-saving measures, or potential issues during the construction phase.
  • Lead, manage, and control subcontractors, suppliers, services, and all stakeholders to ensure work is performed correctly and in full compliance with the construction schedule.
  • Maintain and track billing, reports, and projections, and award subcontracts for construction work within financial limits and constraints.
  • Conduct activities in accordance with all company policies and procedures, including safety and environmental compliance.
  • Perform any other related tasks.
