About The Position

The position is responsible for managing internal and external projects to deliver on projects through quality planning, requirements definition and implementation.

Requirements

• Associates degree and three (3) years’ experience managing large scale projects in technology or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience using traditional and agile project management methodologies including the proper application.
• Experience in leading cross-functional organizational wide project teams.
• Knowledge of computers and software applications in Windows, Word, Excel, and MS Project (or other project management tool).
• Ability to type 40 wpm.
• Ability to read, write speak, and use proper grammar in English.
• Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and document technical procedures, financial reports, legal documents, and government regulations.
• Ability to write business correspondence.
• Ability to define situations, document data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Ability to calculate rates, rations, and percentages.

Nice To Haves

• Project Management certification.

Responsibilities

• Develops and completes requests for proposals (RFP), requests for information (RFI), statements of work (SOW), and the technical and contract review process in connection with any new vendor relationships.
• Gathers information for information system structures, processes, and protocols.
• Oversees all aspects of projects, sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and communication progress of projects to ensure projects are completed within budget, scope and negotiated timeframes.
• Forecasts project completion estimates and prepare status reports for the benefit of senior leadership.
• Works directly with project team members to ensure tasks are completed on time, within scope and budget.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
