About The Position

ABB is hiring a Project Manager in its Robotics, Service Robotics business line in Auburn Hills, Michigan. The role leads execution of medium-size projects, ensuring activities follow applicable procedures, regulations, standards, specifications, and targets. The Project Manager leads team members to meet project requirements, deliver contracted work, and achieve committed results. The work model is hybrid. The position reports to the Operations Manager - US Service Robotics.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in project management, leading technically complex projects.
• Experience working as a Project Lead with automation and systems integration is required.
• High proficiency with Microsoft Office, project planning software, SAP, and related tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Passion for leadership, communication, organization, and collaboration.
• Must have authorization to work permanently in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• Prior industry experience in the Health, Life Science, Pharmaceutical, or Food markets.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project team, establish the project execution approach, and oversee planning, monitoring, and control of internal and external resources to accomplish project goals.
• Monitor and control project progress, efficient resource utilization, and project financials.
• Identify, qualify, quantify, and manage project risks, and ensure opportunities are identified and pursued.
• Drive formal project acceptance, contract close-out, and customer acknowledgment in accordance with the contract.
